One to one 'martial arts specific' fitness training (experienced in Wing Chun kung fu, San Shou kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jiu-jitsu)

Kickboxing is great for cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength, but that's not all. You'll develop co-ordination, speed, agility, balance, and mental toughness too. You can train with a partner, or alone with a heavy bag. For stress-busting and letting out pent-up aggression, kickboxing is hard to beat.

To avoid injury, make sure you are flexible in the hamstrings and calves before attempting kicks. And don't lock out the joints when performing kicks and punches. Make sure you execute your kicks and punches from a strong centre of gravity, not from an off-balance stance.

If you've ever tried kickboxing, you'll be familiar with that feeling when your arms feel like lead weights, your heart is bursting out of your chest, and your lungs are burning. Why not boost your cardio and muscular endurance with some sessions with a personal trainer in London ? A personal trainer will also test and improve your flexibility, essential when you're making dynamic moves like kicking and punching. Tight hamstrings are the last thing you need when you're executing a high kick!
