Rio 2016 Olympics

Usain Bolt takes gold in the 100m final, and adds another gold in the 200m (but only just!). He finally achieved the unprecedented  "triple triple" - 3 golds in each of the last 3 Olympics - by winning the 4 x 100m relay. Adam Gemili of Team GB narrowly missed out on the 200m Bronze.

Congratulations to Greg Rutherford for winning bronze in the long jump.

A big win for Mo Farah who took gold in the men's 10,000 metres, despite falling during the race. Like a pro, he got straight back up and made up lost ground in seconds.

Jessica Ennis-Hill won silver in the heptathlon, winning the final discipline, the 800m. She hinted she may retire now to spend more time with her family.
